IWMS User Group Seminar on 2nd Dec 2019

We launch the first annual forum for executives to discuss the opportunities in the investments of technology to manage Real Estate and assets. “Together with our leading IWMS technology partners we will be engaging some leading facilities and property management specialists or practitioners to address and unpack the technology platforms that support this industry. It is crucial for property practitioner to understand how technologies can unlock opportunities within the management of their assets. This is an opportune platform to have discussions with other leaders who are looking for the next competitive edge and how the right technology can play a huge role. Throughout the day, we will have interactive thought leadership opportunities, viewed demonstrations and networked with industry peers. The output could lessons learnt and critical inflection points, and the digital transformation that is disrupting industries.
Who should be attending
Our targeted user at this seminar is public sector. However we have invited all other specialist in all industries (including CIO’S, HEADS OF PUBLIC SECTOR INFRASTRUCTURE, ASSET & PROPERTY MANAGERS, FACILITIES MANAGERS CFO’S, PROJECT MANAGERS, LEADING PROPERTY PRACTITIONERS)
We are expecting a minimum number of 80 delegates as it is a small focus group.
All speakers and Delegates will be awarded CPD Points for SAAMA

Peter moved back to MTN SA where he was responsible for strategic product development and strategic planning and this included advising on the broadband business for MTN, strategy and approval of the National fibre joint collaboration model in the industry and advising on the acquisition of Verizon to grow MTN Business as well as managing strategic initiatives from a project execution perspective. Peter joined Nokia Sub Sahara leadership being responsible for entry category go to market programs in the region.
Peter re-joined MTN SA and firstly worked as Senior Manager: Business Development then promoted to General Manager Strategy and Marketing Support and later assumed the role of General Manager: Ecosystem Development and Innovation where he is responsible for MTN SA future revenue streams quantification which included defining the MTN Group digital/media strategy to diversify the revenue streams.
In 2012, Peter was responsible for launching the Mobile Money division for MTN South Africa.Peter has advised clients across Media/ICT, Mobile Financial Services and Informal Next Generation Distribution on market entry and go to market strategies.Peter is currently the head of partnerships and mobile solutions for Alternative Business Models at ABSA
Peter holds a Bachelor Electrical Engineering and GDE (Industrial Engineering from Wits University)

Worked for a technology company GijimaAST, as an IT Engineer soon afterhe then pursued a career in local government where, amongst other things, he became a Chairperson of various structures. Chaired a committee which steered towards acquiring a Disaster Relief fund amounting to approximately R45 million for Disaster Management Relief.
He managed eight (8) community development portfolios for the municipality in his tenure. Achieved a merit rating for compliance in his department for good governance and operations during his local government tenure.
In 2012, Mr Dube received an award for Overall No. 1 Employee of the Year 2012.
Mr Dube majored in software development, but also took time to study Business Analysis, Certificate in Public Relations and Administration Management through the University of South Africa.
Mr Dube was part of project managing the implementation of the Gauteng Online

She has progressed in expanding her scope as a Mindfulness Coach with Neuroscience and Positive Psychology, having graduated with her Masters’ in Positive Psychology, Leadership and Strategy in July 2019 at the IE Business School is Madrid, Spain.
With this qualification, Jazz has been able to expand Zenzele into providing Executive Coaching to businesses. Jazz strongly believes in “Context Leadership” – being mindful in creating spaces for others to flourish – and “Positive Resonance” – connecting with humans through a positive emotional state of mind. Prior to re-joining IBM, Hamilton was co-founder of Cornastone Technology Holdings (Pty) limited, of which he as CEO for 13 years from 2000 to 2012. Cornastone as a local systems integrator with over 300 employees at its peak and had investments companies.
Before starting Cornastone, Hamilton was an IBM employee for the prior 10 years, started his career as an IBM Systems Engineer, moved to Sales, and became an IBM executive

His achievements within the Sales department were a natural steppingstone to his appointment as Managing Director of Esri South Africa in 2002. Patrick has extensive experience in land administration and property management with a variety of customers, locally and in Africa. Under his leadership the company has grown from 30 to over 150 staff members, with a loyal and diverse client base. Esri South Africa is currently the largest supplier of GIS software in Southern Africa.
